"The Royal Maritime Hotel is in some ways quite old fashioned, but it has great charm. I thought the service, from the check in staff, from the staff in the restaurant and from the concierge staff, was outstanding. Everyone is friendly, but polite, and always helpful. The hotel is very good value for money. My room was quite small, but contained a double bed which was comfortable, and had an excellent en suite. I wasn't keen on the very small TV which was suspended from one corner of the room,...

"Lovely heritage hotel and endearing staff who made you feel at home. The Harbor View is a bit of a misnomer as the harbor has been eclipsed by a transportation hub, so the main view is of a bus station. Harbor View rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is also the sunny side, so get very warm on nice days and the hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms ( only common areas). Breakfast was excellent."
