"I saw lots of negative reviews for this hotel so was very nervous about booking but we’d been let down at the last minute with the accommodation we’d booked for our weekend away so booked the Ocean hotel and hoped for the best! I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised, yes the outside is a bit tired but the reception and bar area are lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, even a fan and heater in the wardrobe for hot/cold weather, beds were really comfortable and it was much quieter than I expected it to be, we had a stunning sea view too, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again "

"Decent size room, very clean rooms, big size beds and to top it all off fantastic air conditioning for the hot weather, would stop here again in the future if I ever go back to Bournemouth."
