We stayed 3 nights in October and we lit the woodburner every evening. It was like the outside world didn't exist.The next paragraph is meant as advice to future visitors: you will need a car with good ground clearance as the final couple of hundred yards to the cottage is a bridleway with a high grassy crown. The good ground clearance will also stand you in good stead around the rest of Cornwall's rural roads. We were planning on going in our BMW Z4, which would have been ruined had we done so. Instead we took a Nissan Qashqai and it coped." We stopped off for groceries in Penzance on the way there and that worked really well with a choice of supermarkets. The cottage had everything we needed.
