"Ability to check in early as room became available which was quite good as we had been travelling since 3am. Only thing to note not many parking spaces available but hotel will let you know if any available right by the hotel priot. Family room was quite spacious and clean. Breakfast which was a self serve buffet.It was nice,tasty,fresh and hot.Very filling. Staff were polite and friendly. Great location."

"Excellent stay and well worth the money. It's a family run establishment so you get the personal touch and some extras like much needed milk in the fridge. It's a drive into an estate so the location is peaceful and pretty. All amenities were kept to a very high standard. We'll definitely be looking to stay here again next time I'm down in Cornwall. Penzance is down the road for all your shopping and Porthocurno / Lands End are a 20 minute drive away. Ideal location."

Cottage has everything we needed, super comfy beds and the owner called us in advance to introduce herself which I thought was a lovely touch. "Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. This is a special place with it's private, secluded garden and attention to detail. Beautifully laid out, very clean, comfortable, and everything you need - plus a welcome pack! There is a stone path and steps to the property which is quite magical but might not suit everyone. Host provided all details in advance with a local contact if needed. Don't let proximity to the main road put you off - an occasional sound of a lorry or motor bike but otherwise so quiet and relaxing. Close to Penzance with it's fabulous, independent shops, galleries and cafes and Newlyn with galleries and amazing seafood shops, fresh off the boats. Lots to do in the area. Would definitely recommend and hope to return."
