"For us it was very much a functional pit-stop that was good value for money compared to the increasingly expensive competition. The hotel and room is fairly tired & basic but was quiet and what we needed."

"We had a very lovely stay. The room was brilliant— dulex double ! The view was stunning. We loved that it was out a bit but still close to Dumfries for a wee wander."

"lovely two night stay in the very reasonably priced Kings Arms Hotel, Lockerbie. The staff were very helpful & friendly and the room was newly refurbished and decorated. Dinner was delicious - I would recommend the steak pie !"
