"The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan....

"We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. "

"Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. "

"Dishwasher wasn’t working blinds at front kept falling down and the oven door didn’t stay open kept springing up. The outside of the lodge needed a bit of tlc. Apart from this a lovely lodge !"

"We stayed October half term, first time we have stayed here and will definitely return. The lodge was great and very clean, beautifully decorated with some autumn/halloween decorations making it more homely and seasonal. Beds were comfortable, hot tub great and in a good location for the lake and clubhouse"

"This was our 3rd time at Whitecross bay (although the first time using Tarn & Fell), and this was the best lodge yet! The location was really quiet, and relatively private for a park like this. The lodge was really well equipped with everything you need, and felt very comfortable - like a home from home. My only suggestion would be to consider screening behind the hot tub for a bit more privacy although the area was so quiet it wasn't much of an issue."
