"We arrived soaking wet and didn't get a friendly welcome from the receptionist . She just told us our rooms were in the cottages near the entrance and handed over the keys sayig all informaion was in our rooms.. No warmth at all... We found our rooms to be groundfloor quite nice and beds were comfortable.. Unfortunately, there was loud creaking overhead as the people moved around upstairs.. It was very noisy and seemed to go on for hours. Also the traffic noise from the busy road was awful! The breakfast was fairly basic but ok. We would not return.... "

"Lovely hotel just off the Saints Way and they are really welcoming to walkers. Excellent breakfast, best eggs we had on the trip. Just a few minutes walk from a pub and chippy for an evening meal, these are on the Saints Way so you can eat before checking in and save yourself the extra steps. The building is old and historically interesting. The gardens are lovely to enjoy your coffee in"

"The property was wonderful and the host very attentive to our needs. The welcome hamper was marvellous and much appreciated. The place was extremely clean, quiet, well equipped, warm, comfortable and more than we could have wished for. The beds were extremely comfortable. The host has clearly thought of everything to make visitors feel at home in a high spec property. The hot tub & field for the dog were real bonuses. Can’t recommend highly enough."
