Where do I start?
Initially calling the hotel after making a booking was a nightmare with a rude lady on the phone who cut the call. I then called back to receive a welcoming 'What?'
The room was freezing. The heater in the room, was off and the receptionist once more answered my call, then put the phone down, once I raised my concerns.
Once more i called back to her annoyance and she said 'someone is coming now...' yet again putting the phone down. Do not expect good customer service here.
The bed was on its last legs and i ended up sleeping in a dip. If you have a bad back, do consider this.
The television is from the 80s, which doesn't work. And there are a list of hidden charges, such as; bringing food in to the premises. The kitchen shuts at 8pm, so if you're arriving late, you're going to be hungry or be hit with a £25 levy pp.
Just do yourself a favour, go to another hotel and do not make the same mistake i did..
Be sure to enjoy the sound of the busy road through the paper thin walls, I thoroughly enjoyed this myself.
Other than that Bodmin is ... OK?
