"Beautifully appointed hotel, both outside and in. Worthy of its 4 star rating. Check in was personal and friendly. Porterage was offered but we didn't use it. There is a lift to all floors and although there are 5 steps down to the breakfast room, a stair lift is available for those with limited mobility. Our bedroom was equipped with a king size bed a large flat screen TV, telephone and air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. Tea and coffee making facilities bottled complimentary water and biscuits. There is also a formal restaurant and informal dining in the bar area. Two very different menus but both serving excellent cuisine. All the staff were friendly and communicative, which we found quite refreshing. All in all we found the St George's Hotel to be very good value for money, well placed for the town centre, Mostyn Street being just a couple of minutes walk away. The only down side, limited on site parking. We will return."

"Stayed 1 night as a stop off. Staff friendly and professional. The pool had been in use when we arrived and we were told we would only be able to use after 7:30pm and pool closed at 8:00pm, which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons for booking this hotel. The staff however told us we could have longer time which was lovely of them. The pool is not massive but enough to have a good swim. Continental breakfast was included in our booking and there was plenty of choice. We will return in the future. "

"One night stay in Llandudno a favourite place of ours. Normally do as day trip but as good weather forecast decided to stay over. Room was at the top so lots of stairs to climb but great sea view so worth it. Comfy bed and spacious room. Fairly recently renovated but headboard already been damaged which was a shame. Shower tray quite slippery so shower mat would have been better. Loved the chocolate and good old flump with our hot chocolate in the evening. Slept well and was greeted by a seagull on the windowsill in the morning!! Breakfast was amazing so much choice and quickly served up. Really enjoyed the fried bread. Paid for parking and whilst tight it was nice to have car somewhere safe. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Definite recommend and would stay again."

"I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. After spending the day with dad I would come back and have an evening meal, again cooked fresh, plenty of choice and excellent service. I felt very welcomed. The only quibble I have is that reception in the annex was hit and miss so I missed a couple of calls. If that gets improved then it will be 10/10 rather than a 9.5."
