"The room was excellent. Comfortable beds. Quiet and warm as the weather outside was forecast snow. Hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. Food in the restaurant was so good and the prices were very, very good. My son and I had a good sleep and a great breakfast the following morning. We would definitely stay here again."

"Tried this hotel for the first time. This charming and comfortable hotel, sensitively evolved from a historic town house into a modern hotel with period atmosphere. Was well worth the visit. The hotel has accessible rooms which complied with our specific requirements. Well designed rooms with regulation fixtures and fittings but with an old world feel. The accessible rooms front onto a small attractive courtyard. Staff are excellent. Food is excellent although only breakfasts are served at this time. This hotel does not feature the 'sterility' of front line hotels. Amp full parking is available including about 8 spaces for electric cars where owners can joyfully watch their vehicles depreciate at £1 per minute. There is a charge for overnight parking but blue badge holders are free."

"I expected a budget hotel but it was much better. Spotlessly clean, lovely fluffy towels, comfortable bed and plenty of beverages. Staff throughout the dite were friendly & helpful. Food on site was lovely & the choices at breakfast were amazing. Wouldnt hesitate to book again"

"Fantastic friendly staff, extremely helpful. Stayed 2 nights, clean and very central. The only slight downside was the first mornings breakfast, came in at the middle of the serving hours but food not brilliant. Next day much better. All in all a great stay."
