"This was a nice location. Good for walks, whale watching and a general peaceful position watching the waves crashing on the rocks. Good layout of the house, with bedrooms and bathrooms both up and downstairs, and an additional lounge area downstairs. the house was well equiped. We really appreciated some basic requirements that were made available. The only thing needing attention, which would be easily fixed, were light globes that needed to be replaced. The windows were dirty so we cleaned them, but after the first night, they were messy again, and I guess that's bound to happen when you are so close to waves breaking. We were also fortunate enough to see the sun and full moon setting over the rocks. Beautiful. Thank you for a really lovely stay."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic, relaxing stay at Fishermans Bay! The place was spotless, comfy and in a great location with magnificent ocean views.We had a little trouble accessing the key lockbox at first, but a quick call to the Stay Port Stephens team sorted it out. They were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with.We were celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. The only minor issue was that the heater/air con in the master bedroom wasn’t working properly and was only blowing cold air, which wasn’t a big deal.The vacuum cleaner also wasn’t working, so we used the broom provided in the laundry to clean a few areas. Again, not a major issue, but just something to note.Other than that, everything was great. We’d happily stay again. Highly recommend!"

"The photo's say it all. The property was fantastic and the view was OUTSTANDING! (sorry had to shout that one)Fisherman's Bay is at the end of a country road, so no through traffic and the place was quiet except for the crashing of the waves. what a way to relax.About a 5 min walk away, there is a quiet, sandy beach where people go swimming and snorkeling. My daughter went out about 150 meters (snorkeling) and saw 2 large Mantar rays and a nurse shark. NO drama, she was ecstatic and loved it.Our time there flew by and it was a disappointment to leave. Will I return to this property? Absolutely! So long as they don't raise the prices after this glowing review."
