Situated on the mouth of the Nervión River, Bilbao Bay spreads from the seaside towns of Getxo in the north to Santurtzi and Zierbena in the south. Getting to Bilbao Bay
Bilbao Bay is located to the northwest of Bilbao city centre. It’s easy to reach, taking around 20 minutes by car or 30 minutes on Bilbao’s excellent Metro system. Bilbao Bay is also home to the ferry terminal, located in the town of Zierbena. So it’s an ideal place to stay if you’re travelling by ferry to or from Portsmouth.
