"Sarah was an excellent host. She shared her restaurant recommendations and local attractions to visit. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as it was close to the harbour, beach, shopping, and the train and bus locations. Our stay in Weymouth turned out to be our favourite during our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend the Anchorage."

"The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning."

The ancient St. John the Baptist Church with its remarkable wooden roof angels anchors this charming Dorset village. Explore the Black Hill nature reserve nearby or visit the ruins of Woodbury Hill Fort for panoramic views of the countryside.
Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained.
Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.

Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Loved the kindness and professionalism of Karen and Richard. Very helpful and 100% dedicated to high standards in all things. We needed easy walking level access to all amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and places of interest.

We had a wonderful stay at Manston guest house. We were made to feel so relaxed and at home, a service that is hard to find, even in the most expensive hotels. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable and after a nice sleep we had a lovely breakfast, cooked to order with fresh eggs from next door. Nothing was too much for Fiona and Justin the owners and if we're in Dorset again will definitely go back.

Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror.
The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available.
Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden.
We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious!
The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area.

I had a lovely stay at Stoneleigh barn, Rupert and Camilla were really helpful and attentive. My room was lovely and the bathroom was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, the garden was beautiful and Nutmeg the dog was really sweet.

It was a fantastic little place and very welcoming on arrival. In fact, my partner thought it to be a suitable place to ask to marry him. There is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea and then breakfast was incredibly generous. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay and will be staying again myself if in the area:

Service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside.
We had a drink in the bar before we went out, and we both said we wished we were staying at the hotel for dinner as the service was brilliant. The personal touch made a huge difference.
The room was to the highest standard and certainly did not disappoint.
Only reservation and this is scraping the barrel, however I hope they can be helpful to someone:

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and contactable at all times, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room.
There was plenty to choose from for breakfast whether hot or cold and all hot food was cooked to order.
I would highly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

What is the nightly rate for a Bed and Breakfast in Bere Regis?
Prices for B&Bs in Bere Regis often vary, but you can find a great deal from £52 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Bere Regis B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Bere Regis?
The most popular time to book a B&B in Bere Regis is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to August. This vibrant period attracts travellers eager to explore the stunning landscapes of Dorset, with warm weather superb for outdoor adventures and leisurely sightseeing. May and June are particularly appealing, as temperatures typically hover around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. This is an ideal time for hiking and cycling, as the trails are less crowded compared to the peak summer months. Many visitors also take advantage of the pleasant weather to discover local attractions such as the historic church of St. John the Baptist and the picturesque Bere Regis village itself.
For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in September. This month often offers lovely weather, with fewer crowds and the chance to witness the beautiful transition of the seasons. You can enjoy the tranquillity of the area while still engaging in delightful outdoor activities, such as exploring the nearby Wareham Forest or taking scenic walks along the coast.

Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Bere Regis B&Bs.
