Our 4 bedroom home sits on 6 acres of beautiful wooded land. Located right off route 103, you can be at the Jackson Gore entrance to Okemo and on the slopes in 10 mins! (Also, Killington Resort is 12 mi away and Stratton Mountain is 23 mi away.) There are trails nearby for hiking in the warm months and snowshoeing or snowmobiling during winter. Our home is located in the town of Mount Holly which is only seven miles from Ludlow where Okemo Mountain Resort is. Only 9 minutes from Okemo and local stores. We used this home to accommodate 4 adults and 4 children. The layout was perfect, with the downstairs media room, large kitchen/great room, 8 person high-top dining table, oversized kitchen counter, and sizable bedrooms and bathrooms. The home was clean, meticulously designed, well equipped and labeled. It felt like vacation! The bonus was the two car garage. This was ideal for loading and unloading cars and a perfect place to unload after a day of skiing. It even had a large boot warming rack for use.The other bonus is how enjoyable and clean the hot tub was. It is right outside the downstairs back door. The host was in communication ensuring we were pleased upon arrival and also let us know after a fresh snowfall when to expect the plow. The hosts were always available by phone/text and quickly responded. Check-In and Check-Out was easy breezy! So much space in the house and lots of books and toys for our son, which was a really nice surprise. The hot tub was AMAZING!! The location provides a remote experience but Ludlow is a quick drive and other beautiful areas like Woodstock, Manchester and Killington are about 40-45 mins away.
