Hotel Spinne
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Spinne was a delightful hotel for my family. We had a room with an Eiger view that was beautiful and a room with a street view that still had a wonderful view of the mountains. Both rooms were spacious and well equipped, the number of windows and fans made the room temp very comfortable to sleep in, even with the hot day time temps. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and cold room! Breakfast every morning had a wide selection of hot foods, cereals and breads. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was a short walk from the train station, directly in the middle of the shops and restaurants and a short walk from the First Gondola. It did get noisy at night while trying to sleep. Our room was right above the bar/restaurant area and people were outside until late at night. Our son's room faced the street and that was very loud until the early morning hours."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast options were wonderful to start the day with. The location and shuttle to and from the train station for arrival/departure is very convenient. The views, the bar, the onsite restaurant. All wonderful. Would easily come back here."

"A cute and comfortable hotel near train station. Great location (5 mins walk to train station). Good breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. We are family of three and really enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely stay here again if we come back."

"Great Eiger and glacier view from balcony. Two bathrooms was great for kids. Views from the restaurant terrace was amazing. Hotel shuttle from train station was very helpful because it’s on the other side of town."

"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. The hotel was otherwise excellent with its staff, amenities, location."
