Location is perfect: about a 10-minute walk from the main station, 5 minutes to Grindelwald First, and a grocery store right below. The second day we got back to the hotel after a long hike, and found that our room hadn't been cleand yet. We told this fact to the manager that staff forgot to make up our room. Then, amazingly, he didn't ask the staff to do it, he started cleaning himself and finished it properly. He was also very nice. He introduced us good restaurant and gave us lots of valuable information. And breakfast was also very good. Reception leaves by 9pm so if you need anything, no one is around to help. The housekeeping forgot to leave packets of body soap/ shampoo after cleaning our room.
