"I and the wife spend a weekend away for out anniversary to walk around some of lovely Yorkshire. The staff at the Gamekeepers are incredible proud of their establishment, they were always kind courteous and helpful. Special compliments for Dan, he was always helpful communitive and friendly. The food is really good, especially the breakfast, really enjoyed it, everything taste as it should. Rooms are clean, some smaller than others, will be booking again maybe a pod. The gym & spa facilities are very good just what is required."

"What a lovely cosy cottage. It was a pleasure to return to after a day's exploring. The bed was comfortable the kitchen well equipped and the log burner an added pleasure on very cold days. A short walk into Grassington with independent shops, cafes and a choice of pubs. Many beautiful walks straight from the door.We will definitely return."

"We would not have been able to access the property if it weren’t for the help of other guests. The owners failed to tell us the entrance code. In addition there was no prior warning that the en suite was outside our room (room 6)."

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops 2 minutes walk away. Free parking at the hotel."

"Wonderful cottage in a great location cottage had everything we needed owners have thought of everything.Loved the log burner kept the cottage warm and cosy .We found parking no problem we got parked right next to the cottage .Grassington is a lovely with lovely shops , bars, cafes and restaurants the people are so friendly .We will definitely be returning ! "Very clean, comfortable and well appointed.However …The steepness, and narrowness, of the 2 staircases compromised the ease with which they could be negotiated for those of us, of a “certain” age, with reduced stability on our feet especially carrying suitcases up and down.Management of the cooking stove could benefit with comprehensive operating instructions - similar to those provided for the washer - since functional symbols are not the same as those on our N. American ranges.Instructions of where to find and locate the bins, especially for collection, could be more definitive.I would recommend this VRBO without hesitation but with slight reservation."

"We had a fabulous stay at this perfect little cottage! The location is ideal - just a short walk to the centre of Grassington. We parked at the Town Hall carpark which was a few minutes walk away and had plenty of space when we stayed.The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you could ask for. We were particularly pleased to have fire wood and coal provided so we could make a fire when it got chilly one evening!"
