Beach Cities San Diego County Holidays from £795

My wife and I stayed at The Dana on Mission Bay for a short San Diego getaway and had a great experience. We stayed in a Junior Suite with an ocean view, which was perfect for our trip. The property was clean and well kept, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really liked the location. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby within walking or biking distance, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area without having to drive everywhere. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay at The Dana again on our next trip to San Diego!

Over all, it was an okay hotel. Thank goodness I asked for a final invoice, because there were hidden charges that weren’t included when I booked the room. First, they charged me for 3 nights of self- parking, when we only stayed for 2 nights. Then, they charged me for additional hotel amenities for 2 nights, and when I asked what that was, the lady said it was for water and ice machines? What? You charge for those? I didn’t even get ice, nor water. I actually had to go to the nearest store to get drinking water. Yeah, no. I won’t be returning and will not refer this place, unfortunately.

I really enjoyed this hotel- great easy location and clean property! It sounds picky- I could not find a way to turn the light off on the balcony- it was really cool having a balcony but I wanted to sleep with the curtains open and couldn’t e of the balcony light. Otherwise the staff was very kind and accommodating and i would absolutely stay again!
