"I took a friend 2 nights for her birthday. The staff could not do enough for us..the rooms are dated like most hotels but very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable ..i booked a twin room room, we were give a large room with 2 double beds and sea view..the breakfast is amazing.."

"It is close to the beach and to the train station is the best part. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. A sleeper in bathroom or a mat would help maintain the bathroom clean and dry after taking shower."

"We were delighted when we checked in to this hotel, it’s immaculate and we were given a complimentary room upgrade and birthday cake in the room! It’s a beautiful hotel, great location and great views over the pleasure beach and sea. The only thing we found negative was that it seems to lack a warmth, no atmosphere, just a bit sterile. The staff are polite and professional but seem to be very low in morale and this shows; almost like they daren’t have a laugh or be themselves. Drink prices in...

"Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "
