This hotel was actually a good hotel. Friendly desk check in staff, quiet, near Bellevlle metro, easy access to m2 line to get to famous sites such as The Eiffel tower and The Louvre. Clean room.
Cheap and affordable, near a McDonald's for a late night treat, and also near markets and cafe's.
Only con was that the bathroom is outside of the room and at night going back and forth can really suck. The shower was pretty decent, But I suggest shower shoes.
My only complaint is that this hotel is slightly out of the way, we thought it looked close to the center of Paris on the map but soon discovered it was a 2 hour walk to the Eiffel tower. Apart from this the hotel itself was great, the staff spoke good English and were able to get us into our room quickly. The rooms itself was pretty spacious and the beds were good quality. Overall a great hotel for the price.

We were six New Zealanders staying at this Hotel in Paris, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the closeness to cafes and the Metro was excellent, the room size while small which was expected in Paris was very comfortable with excellent water pressure in the shower, fresh towels everyday.
We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to other travellers.
It also had a lift which was a bonus with lots of bags after five weeks of travelling.

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Vanessa who showed an outstanding attitude of service, she did a great job providing with city information and responding any question we had. The room was a little small but very cozy. The only complain I have is that the carpet seemed to be old and did not look very clean. The Location was fabulous because in the area you have a lot of restaurants, cafeterias, and 2 metro stations within 5 minutes walking.

Northeast of Place de la Bastille, this working-class neighbourhood is gradually becoming fashionable with younger Parisians. Trendy boutiques, cafés and bars are replacing the older shops and bistros, although some old-fashioned workshops survive. Left-wing sentiments are aired here annually on 14th July when France commemorates the Revolution. A few paving stones mark the site of the former Bastille prison.
