"Used this place for business. Was close to work and affordable. The room was clean and had a fridge for my medication which is always a bonus. the staff in the restaurant and bar were great. Although it was a buffet breakfast, the food was still fresh and had not been cremated under the hot lights."

Nice clean hotel with a great shower room. Really comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast was nice.
Excellent price overall with a free breakfast.
Strange being amongst a housing estate, but it was in a quite area.

Beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and dinner in the restaurant was so good the first night we went again on our second.

Me and a friend stayed over after a party in one of the function rooms. Great function space, food and DJ and for less than £60 to stay over it was a great deal. Room was clean and spacious with a good shower and basic facilities. On Sunday we had a swim after a great breakfast. Lovely addition to the party.

We stayed in room 410, it was a beautiful room, lovely decor & finish, a very good size too. Comfortable bed & bedding, the pillows were far to soft for our liking though. We were slightly dubious about potential noise as the room was next to the lift & across from the kitchen but it was surprisingly quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has been refurbished recently and is in very good condition. We were lucky to stay in a double room with two double beds, easily big enough for a family of four but there were two of us.
As our visit was deemed to be a necessary visit due to Covid restrictions all our meals were taken in our rooms. The limited menu offered something for everyone and the quality of food was excellent, both at breakfast and in the evening. There was a lovely covered patio area to enjoy but the weather...

We both enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion, the staff could not do enough for us, especially as I wanted to make sure Motorbike was in a secure place. Ideal for a relaxing break, even if the have a function on, as you cannot hear any music, plus the beds are so relaxing that you just want to get out of bed.

We were very late arriving but they held the rooms for us and night manager was extremely kind to us knowing how exhausted we were.
We were very pleased with the rooms and how clean there were. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
One evening we took advantage of the 24hr menu and must say the pizza we a
ordered was very good indeed.
The breakfast was amazing and choices had something for everyone.
Overall I would stay there again.
