"We had a magical time staying at Ban Rai Tin Thai Ngarm Eco Lodge. This is a family run lodge surrounded by their beautiful garden and the mountains, a paradise away from the city. The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met, they made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts give advice and maps of the area to explore. "We had a lovely short stay here in February, which is the quieter season (we were told domestic tourism peaks in January), so it felt especially peaceful. The hotel itself is beautiful - the waterfalls are a real highlight - and we loved spotting the friendly peacocks wandering around the grounds. The resort is quite secluded, so dining options are mostly limited to the hotel’s restaurants, although there is a nice little coffee shop just a short walk away. We were also able to secure transport through the hotel to the nearby botanical gardens and Mon Jam, which was a great day out. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout - a really special spot for a calm, relaxing few days."
