The rooms were beautifully appointed with new furnishings, excellent air conditioning, good internet wifi and a lovely view across the pool. Most importantly it was quiet; something that I haven't experienced in a while. This place is creepy and appears on the brink of financial collapse. No one around. Bathroom makes your skin crawl. Resort is a wellness retreat which runs more like an undocumented third world hospital. Some health practices of questionable status occurring at the resort.
