No shelf in the shower - had fallen off ages ago so had to put shower gel/ shampoo etc on the floor. Place was almost empty for first 2 says! Expensive ecperience gor what you get. It is about and hour outside of Chiang Mai so if your ok paying about $30 to get into the city this place is great. It is also within 5 minutes of the Elephant Nature Park which is the non-abusive elephant sanctuary. There is also an elephant park right next door, sadly, this is the type that exploits elephants. You can have better food in downtown chiang mai or from steer vendors. Their free breakfast, however is pretty good.
