There is no spa, massages, etc available on the property at all. There is no hot tub and the pool is cold. There was no one at the bar at any time, and no menus for the “restaurant.” Bugs were pretty bad as well. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms and ceiling of bathroom was patchy/see through in parts. There is nothing at all to do in the area, closest things are over 40 minutes away. Checkin was quick and trouble free. It is however a solid 2-3 star place no matter what the photos look like. Room windows don’t close properly, power in first room wouldn’t come on, second room had a mouldy smell to it and could see the source of the smell on the walls. Bathroom not clean, products seemed refilled with water. If it was $60-80 and in this area then ok, but it was $120 so I’d expect not to see droppings in the bathroom and soap scum + other things around the shower. Room was also quite bright at night, curtains are not solid. Communal facilities were nice and garden well maintained. Le jardin est très beau et les installations l’ont été aussi mais il y a quelques années. Le personnel, malgré le fait qu’ils ne parlent pas anglais, est très serviable et gentil. Ils se débrouillent avec les traducteurs sur leurs téléphones et marquent en permanence leur volonté de bien servir. Mais l’hôtel manque beaucoup de confort, les cabanes sont très sombres et comptent uniquement avec des rideaux épais si bien que si l’on les ouvre on est exposé aux regards et si l’on les ferme on est obligé d’allumer les lumières. The town is quiet with mostly locals so you wouldn’t expect such a nice hotel. It has amazing views and an awesome pool! There’s a free breakfast in the morning with a buffet if there’s enough guests. They have a full kitchen and dinner menu. We didn’t even have to leave the hotel for yummy food! The room/cabin was very private and relaxing. We caught one staff member on his first day and he was very friendly and helpful.
