"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"Very well equipped and tastefully decorated cottage with amazing views over the reservoir and Holme valley. Local walks and places to eat are convenient. Only one thing wasn’t quite perfect. The key safe is near the ground and hard to access for those of us who aren’t as mobile as we used to be. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay."

"The cottage is lovely. There is everything you need there. The 1st floor rooms are lovely. There is a twin downstairs. Lovely powerfull shower. Tv was a pain to get to work. (Like every holiday property, i dont know why). I booked this because i thought it was in a quiet location. Boy was i wrong. The cottage is next door to a pub. And opposite a church. "Lovely small cottage. Just the job for a short stay in the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage was easy to find but we did have some difficulty accessing the rear of the property. It is very narrow and the parking space is very tight. The property is very quaint and has everything you would need for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the outside area. The steps leading down to the property at the rear are very steep and would be difficult when wet with no hand...

"A lovely little ex-mill-workers cottage. The owners have extensively researched the history which makes interesting reading. Some "essential" supplies were provided, most welcoming. A generous supply of towels, dressing gowns more like a high-class hotel all impressed. The village centre is a few minutes walk down the hill with good pubs for food and ale. "The apartment was nice. Kitchen fully stocked. City centre location so was very noisy at night until 4am one night. The room also isn’t pitch black even with the curtains drawn. Could do with blinds. Floor was quite greasy and sticky so had to wear shoes the whole time. Checkout process was easy and quick. Parking was a nightmare. There’s a car park opposite the apartments but you have to pay and it’s very limited because it’s free after 8:30pm. Always fully packed. Had to park around the corner...
