Family-friendly apartments in Hope Valley with water park
Spacious apartment, located in the heart of the beautiful village of Hathersage, the perfect base for exploring the stunning Peak District National Park. Loved by walkers, climbers and cyclists as well as anyone wanting a relaxing break.

There are stunning walks from the doorstep as well as fantastic pubs and restaurants in the village. Hathersage outdoor heated swimming pool is 200 metres away with views of the surrounding peaks. Some of the best caves and caverns in the country can be explored from nearby Castleton. Fantastic apartment for couples and families with lots of activities for children nearby.

The stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are easily accessible and the villages of Edale, Castleton, Bakewell and Eyam in close proximity.

The apartment is located at 1 Main Road, Hathersage and is newly decorated and refurbished to a high standard. There is reserved parking for one vehicle at the front of the apartment.

The newly installed kitchen includes everything you need for your stay with new appliances including dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, fridge freezer, oven and instant hot water tap.

The sitting/dining room has a vaulted ceiling and views of the surrounding hills. There is a new sprung double sofa bed, television, plus playstation 4. The dining table and seats four.

The bedroom also features views of the peaks, with a TV bed and an additional sofa bed. The apartment is perfect for a couple or young family and would suit a group of friends, it can sleep 4 to 6 people in total.

The newly installed bathroom features a bath with overhead shower, handbasin and wc.

The apartment is set up for children of all ages and there are lots of great activities for kids nearby. For younger children there are playgrounds in Hathersage and nearby Bamford, Gulliver's Kingdom is a 30m drive away and the Hathersage outdoor pool is 200 metres away from the apartment. Chatsworth children's farm and adventure playground are always a big hit. Kids of all ages will be fascinated by the best show caverns in the country in Castleton (10m away). There are numerous easy cycle trails where you can hire bikes and toddler trailers i.e. Tissington trails (35m) and Monsal Trail (20m) For older children Alton Towers, the UK's biggest theme park is less than an hour away and a there are a myriad of outdoor pursuits such as caving, climbing, cycle hire and watersports at Carsington Water. Lots of options in the event of wet weather too. If you'd like inspiration, the owner would be delighted to share ideas with you.

Well trained pets are welcome.

Hathersage is well serviced by road and rail, with Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield an easy day trip.

What a find
We had a wonderful stay in this well appointed and equiped apartment in the lovely peak district village of Hathersage. All mod cons, bright and airy, over the butchers and close to the bakery and the greengrocer. Plentiful walks from the front door. Already recommended to friends and hoping to stay again soon. The host, Andrea, is very responsive and helpful.

Perfect location
The apartment is the perfect base to come back to after a day of walking, it had everything we needed and was central to the shops, bars, swimming pool and walks, meaning once we had parked in the reserved parking we didn’t use the car at all. Andrea, the host was very accommodating in the lead up to and during our stay. We will definitely be returning soon!

Newly decorated and well located
Andrea was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The apartment is not the largest, but has been newly refurbished internally, with 2 smart TVs, good wifi, well-stocked kitchen, and beds + comfortable sofabeds for 6 with plenty of linen & bedding. Hathersage is an excellent location for many sites in the White / Dark Peaks, whilst on-site parking + bus stops + shops + restauramts nearby make the apartment very convenient. It is relatively quiet in the evening, but may better suit early risers given its proximity to the main road and being above commercial premises.

A Little Gem in Hathersage
This is a really comfortable and centrally located flat. Everything you need is provided. Andrea is a super host and is very approachable and accomodating for all requests. The flat is above a very good local butchers with lots of nice meat and delicatessen items available. These are plenty of places to eat out if you don't fancy cooking the produce from the butchers. Hathersage is well positioned to access all areas of the Peak District. Highly recommended.
