Padang Padang is beautiful beach, it's slightly less touristy than some of the other beaches on the island (around kuta) and definitely smaller. I highly recommend the surf lessons, great fun, they make it easy for beginners and it's only about $22 USD per hour but more than likely you can bargain down the price!

When you first visit Bali you do your time. Kuta and Legian are first on the agenda. You'll find yourself wanting to shift further away on subsequent trips. These gates to the Kuta beach will always say Bali to me. #beach #island
