Not sure if booking through Expedia and not directly through the hotel placed a damper on our reservation but our room was nothing like pictures. It was very warm down with wallpaper peeling, water marks on ceiling and wood floors, stained bathroom, tattered light fixtures and curtain. Completely broken AC unit. Oh well. It was just for sleeping and showering and that’s what it was good for.
Common areas are very nice. Breakfast in their restaurant was good. Area felt safe, easy access to public transportation and tourist sites. Rooms were large but would definitely benefit from a deep cleaning, ceilings coverd in dust above ac unit, back of door oily from past guests, tile in shower, etc
We took a quick trip to Boston and wanted a hotel that was close to Newbury, Quincy Market and the aquarium. This hotel checked all the boxes. Would definitely stay there again.
