We chose The Lenox because it was central to our several day's of college visits in Boston. We wanted to stay in town so that our daughter could walk around in the area and get a feel for the town and people and whether or not she felt safe if she were here alone. She did and we did. The staff could ...
Our room didn't have a refrigerator which I needed for my Insulin. They had one brought up to the room a soon as I inquired about it. Wish I had known there was a public parking garage across the street instead of paying $50/night at the hotel one. Booked and paid for our reservation thru Expedia. ...
Location was GREAT. As a walker, it allowed me to walk to multiple destinations. Staff were great. Room was small, the bathroom smaller. The mattress was awesome, particularly since I have a bad back; although the staff was unable to tell me the maker of the mattress when I asked them.

While this is an older building with history and charm the rooms could use a makeover"-at times felt dated-but ...
Excellent stay, very helpful staff, a lovely room and a super comfortable bed. They are doing some renovation to their external facade so occasionally will see a person on a crane, but did not bother me.
