That stood out because sometimes you walk into places and the welcome just feels off, but she made us feel right at home from the start. The room was spot on. Great find through Expedia. We had the two-bedroom setup with a king in the master and two queen beds in the other room, which was perfect for our family. The marina view with the balcony overlooking the pool and out toward the water was definitely a highlight. We spent a lot of time just enjoying that view. There were a couple events going on during our stay, but it never got too noisy or overcrowded. We still had easy access to the pool and everything else without any issues. Overall, easy 5 stars for me. One of the better places we’ve stayed at in a while, and I would definitely come back and recommend it." Once my family arrived we were giving keys to our unit. When I opened the door to our unit, I was disappointed because we did not get a remodeled unit. I phoned down to front desk to inquire about it and hopefully we could get switched, but the lady told me I would have to wait to speak with the managers Ashley or Grant in the morning, and she would make a note. Of course I never received a follow up call which was disappointing. Even if our rooms could not be switched, I would have like to at least spoke with either one of them as I was told would happen. Half of the pool area (Lazy river, water slide, kiddie pool) was closed off for remodeling and I don’t recall that being noted upon our booking but we still had a good time at the portion that was open. Definitely loved the activities they had available for the kiddos which included some FREE activities (snowcones, ice pops, Easter Egg hunt, and line dancing). There were also paid activities you could do with the kiddos as well. The food and drinks were really tasty at the outdoor grill…a little expensive, but I guess that’s expected when on vacation. We decided to purchase the $35 Easter basket to surprise the little one. She was very excited that the Easter bunny thought enough of her to make and bring her a basket (just warmed my heart). Finally we were able to take FREE pictures with the Easter bunny.
