From what I was told, the Jamaican is a bit of history, being the first hotel built on the strip in N. Myrtle Beach. I honestly wish I stayed a few more days. My room was very clean, the staff was super friendly and professional, nice beach view and plenty of parking

My family and I stayed at this resort and plan to visit again! The room was extremely clean, spacious with a full kitchen and separate living room overlooking the ocean. The resort had heated indoor pools, lazy river and hot tub that we took advantage of, and the outdoor pool had a large area with lots of loungers. It was perfectly located and the staff were very friendly!

Room 506-poorly stocked- had to request a frying pan and garbage can. Room had very little to use for cooking meals for our family. Carpet is really worn and old. Couch and arm chairs were recently updated but all other furniture was old and battered. Beds were comfortable and clean. We would not stay here again.

Really not a fan of Myrtle Beach because of past experiences on how "my kind" have been treated. Was here for competition. The room was surprisingly nice! Not what most expect drom Myrtle Beach. Location was convenient. Staff was nice. Room was clean, renovated, and spacious.
