"The staff were lovely, the room e Was so comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than our kitchen. The breakfast in the morning was perfect with a big range to choose from and even the parking was free."

"We were absolutely fuming to be woken up at 04.00 by a HGV dustbin lorry collecting rubbish from the bins outside our bedroom window. After getting back to sleep we were again woken up by the extremely loud fire alarm going off at 06.00. Nobody came around to say if it was just a false alarm and not to evacuate, and no explanation was given at reception when asked about the alarm. I was told that the HGV dustbin lorry was from the council, but I find it hard to believe that the council collect rubbish at 04.00 on a bank holiday Monday so I do wonder if if I was told the truth, and if I was told the truth, then is that the best that you can do, allowing the emptying your bins in the middle of the night, regardless of how many guests get woken up ? I do realise that the fire alarm was probably due to some idiot smoking or vaping in their room, but the whole hotel was awoken and no explanation was given, and wherever the alarm was activated would be shown up on the fire control board, so the source would have been identified. Absolutely disgusted and fuming"

"We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."

"The rooms were very modern, spacious and relaxing. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. There was an ease being here, nothing to complicated. Which is what you want after a hectic day. The area was also peaceful and quiet and if you wanted to go the the city centre only a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was classic continental, some people would want cooked breakfast, however I was happy to have yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast and morning bakery goods. The only improvement i say is maybe the t.v's need updating, to chromecast. Excellent accommodation that felt like home, without no hassle."

"We stayed here for a week with family and it was honestly the best house we could’ve wished for. we enjoyed the garden in sunny weather, stayed indoors and cocooned on the couch during rain and loved to play table tennis in the barn. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. It was also a lovely walk away from the pub and other amenities. In case we go to Kent again with family, we would love to book the Moat Farm House again! It truly felt like home for a week."

"My second stay here and the experience both times has been very similar. It is a stunning building in beautiful grounds. Some of the staff are really nice but some really couldn't care less. On this trip the gentleman on breakfast just barked "room number" when I approached. He didn't offer me any tea or coffee either - although I heard him offer someone else some. Maybe he forgot or maybe he didn't like the look of me. I also had a problem with the automatic blinds. They are remote control - the remote control did not work. I reported it to the front desk and when I returned there was no update and they still didn't work. So no privacy. The room was spacious and pleasant to be in but some of the team members let this place down!"
