"I found the staff very helpful and the room was clean and the bathroom facilities very clean. The manager Alex interduced himself to all the guest and wished us a good stay and offered himself to deal with any problems we might come across. we have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and have already booked again in August and look forward to a happy stay again. "Firstly, the staff are amazing here. The food was also very good with an excellent cooked breakfast along with a great selection of pastries etc. The bar area is very welcoming and the hotel in general is a big favourite of mine whenever I visit Lyme Regis. The view from my room was stunning with the sun rising over the Dorset coast in the morning.I highly recommend."

"Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area."
