Staff were kind and accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet. Location quiet, but walkable to restaurants, museums, etc. loved our time at the Periscope!

Amazing stay in Athens
Fantastic accommodations just at the base of the Lycabettus Hill. Hotel has a unique feature with F and B in that like but scrumptious snacks are included with your stay as well as non alcoholic beverages. Certainly a boutique hotel I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again

Must stay, incredible staff
Periscope hotel is in a great location and the staff is incredible. Gigi, a member of their office team went out of her way to accommodate us. We arrived late and she took care of ordering our dinner, getting us wine, and making sure our room was comfortable. I would stay at the Periscope Hotel again.

This property is outstanding. The location of the Periscope in the Kolonaki section of Athens provided access to restaurants, shopping, and museums. The hotel is on a quiet street in a bustling neighborhood. The hotel and rooms are modern chic and clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast is available with complimentary snacks and beverages provided throughout the day. The Periscope is a top choice in Athens.

Great Athens Option
Loved the hotel, great room, great shower. Yummy free breakfast and 24-hour snacks. A little bit removed from the popular sites of Athens, but worth the extra walking!

Amazing location and great value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of our favorite details was a 24-hour snack bar downstairs. Will definitely be back!

Was a very nice boutique hotel, very confy, cozy, great location, super friendly staff. The only bad thing is that I could not earn points on my SPG programme. Booking via Hotels.com is not entitle to earn points, which is a big pity. Overall I loved.

Great hotel in a wonderful area
Great hotel in a wonderful neighborhood of Athens. Only issue is that the doors close / slam fairly loud. I was awoken by housekeeping closing doors at 7 AM a few days in a row (despite asking them to close the doors more gently more than once). But overall - an excellent experience.

Fantastic find in Athen's swank neighborhood
Wonderful, professional service! Safe location, extremely accommodating. Multi-culturally welcoming for Americans, non-Greek Europeans. Not gay, but very gay friendly typical of cool places in hip areas of cities with international draw. Staff allowed us to check in very early (10am rather than 2pm), no additional fee. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding. After we checked out, staff safely, securely held our luggage before calling a cab (which arrived in minutes) to take us to the airport.  Could not recommend the Periscope Hotel enough, and we will for certain be staying here or at another Yes! hotel in the future. A hearty, sincere and heartfelt thank you to the staff for being so professional and hospitable!

Very lively area , not easy to park so don't even dream to have one here ; everything else in central Athens is within walking distance .

Perfect "American" quality room
Periscope hotel was a great experience. The staff was very professional and quick to respond. The room was excellent and left nothing lacking. Things to consider: There is no iron in the room but available from the front desk. There are no outlets in the bathroom The bathroom is beautiful but has zero counter space. Location is not optimal but only a $5-$6 uber to the center of the main shopping area.

Stylish and comfortable hotel in a great area
The Hotel Periscope is a small, stylish boutique hotel with the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever had. The staff are helpful and kind--we arrived early in the morning after an overnight ferry ride, expecting to check our bags and come back in the afternoon, but the front desk staff gave us an early check-in. The breakfast is very good, with eggs cooked to order. The neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants and cafes, and not packed with tourists, but close to the metro and a short walk to several museums and Syntagma Square. We noticed that some of the rooms are being remodeled and are looking forward to seeing the new look when we return.

Great spot in Kolonaki
The Periscope was a very cool design hotel. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay there from the location to the very helpful and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a different part of the Athenian experience. Located in the chic Kolonaki area, the Periscope is conveniently located near elegant shops, cool bars and bustling coffee shops.

Good hotel. Great service.
We only stayed one night before flying back to the states. But the gentleman at the front desk spoke excellent English and he was very friendly. There was a strike by metro workers scheduled for the following day, so he took the time to look up the bus routes to the airport, find the best one for us, and print out a schedule for us.

Nice hotel, great location, bathroom design :(
The room was nice. However, the bathroom needed improvement. All of the towel racks where coming off of the fall. The bathroom door did not close and clock. The biggest issue I had was the glass bathroom walls. While these were a nice design feature they were terrible for privacy. If you are staying with another person it is absolutely an issue.

Compact hotel perfectly situated for shopping!
Nice hotel in a great location for shopping and eating. The room was a bit small to be marketed as a superior room but other than that, the hotel ticks all the boxes.

Comfortable hotel in a great neighborhood
I really like the Periscope Hotel. This is my second stay. I travel to Athens at least once a year and have always stayed in Plaka/Syntagma before. The Periscope is a nice change because the neighborhood of Kolonaki is not so touristy but is close to everything, safe, and full of good restaurants and cafes. The beds are amazingly comfortable--a real plus when you are traveling--and the breakfast is special, including made-to-order eggs and good coffee. The staff are, to a person, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, though I wish they had a comfy chair in addition to the desk chair. Rooms on the street side get the noise, so you may want earplugs if you are a light sleeper. We will definitely stay here again.
