Nadia's Traditional Greek house

An entirely handmade house totally built with natural materials: stone, wood and iron is an Eco "electricity powered" by sun and wind. Full of details to be discovered!
It is new, designed to make your stay as comfortable, romantic and enjoyable as possible .Its view to the gulf of Anavissos and the mountain range around is breathtaking !

The house is 5 min driving from Anavissos beach which is one of the most beautiful and clearest beaches of Attica and also other free or organised beaches . 35 min drive from the airport, 15 min drive from the port of Lavrion.

It consists of two bedrooms with a window viewing the mountain and the sea, a mosaic hand-made bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a sunny, transparent sitting and dinning room with a double sofa which can sleep two people.

There is a hand-made stone fire place for cosy atmosphere during winter time, as well as a dinning table which seats 4-6 people.

A spacious, open verandah, where you can enjoy your coffee having 360' view of the sea and the mountains around the house. It has independent access to a beautiful rose and vegetables garden with a fountain surrounded by fruit trees. There is also a great collection of cactuses.

Towels and bed sheets are changed every 5 days. There is air conditioning in every room ,as well as central heating for the winter months.
Free internet WIFI is provided.
The Eco swimming pool works with sea sault, not chemicals and has breathtaking view!
Nadia's traditional stone house was chosen by public Brazilian TV to be shown in a documentary as a special traditional house in Attica! The sharing hours of using the pool are 10:00am-15:30pm & 17:00pm-20:00pm!

A welcome haven from the outside world
Nadia and her family have put a lot of care and thought into creating this relaxing and very comfortable natural Greek home situated within a spacious, multi-level leafy garden. It is a lovely travel experience in its own right. Located high above the Anavyssos Bay, the property with its large patio has panoramic Mediterranean views in every direction. Quite awesome. We've stayed in many VRBO-type properties around the world for 20+ years, and Nadia's place fully lives up to its description (unlike some of the others we have stayed at). We can recommend it without hesitation. Everything works in the house and kitchen, including A/C in bedrooms and the living/dining room area. The beds are comfortable and the bedding high quality. There is a very good, safe, gated parking space. The medium sized pool is very clean and well looked after, with lounge chairs and umbrellas around it. Perfect for a refreshing swim. This comfortable, relaxing property was definitely one of the high points of our trip to Greece. We can't say enough about Nadia and her family as very attentive yet privacy-respecting hosts.

Great Greece Getaway
We stayed a few days in this amazing home! Everything was perfect. It’s obvious that the owner has thought of everything to make ones stay pleasant. There’s paintings and art work through out the property, the pictures truly don’t do it justice. You will not be disappointed by the property. The grounds including the pool are included in the stay. So come prepared to relax and kick back with a glass a wine or a cup of Joe. By the the way, Nadia is an awesome host, she made us feel at home and like part of the family. She’s very helpful about what to see and where to enjoy the best Greek cuisine. The city of Anavyssos is small but has everything you need for a great vacation, grocery stores, shops, restaurants and a really nice beach. The people of region, in our experience, has been all positive. They’re very friendly and willing to help out if your a bit confused or lost. We rented a car at the airport and commuted on our own. Driving in Greece is a bit easier than other parts of Europe. The airport is a half hour to Nadia’s property and about an hour to the Acropolis. Fairly easy to get around. We really enjoyed our time here and we good LOVE to go back again!

Lovely place and wonderful hosts
Our stay at Nadia’s and Sotiris’ was superb. It’ s close to Athens airport with wonderful sights and beaches nearby. The view is beautiful, accommodations are convenient and very thoughtful - and last not least they are terrific hosts that really make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Ein unvergleichliches Erlebniss
Das ankommen in Nadias Haus ist herzlich und fühlt sich an wie bei Freunden. Der Blick ist atemberaubend und das Objekt ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig aufgeteilt und perfekt ausgestattet. Einschließlich Air Condition in den Schlafzimmern und an den Fenstern Fliegengitter und zur Terrasse Fliegengitterschiebetüren. Für das Auto steht ein sicherer Carport mit elektrischem Tor zur Verfügung. Ein Auto ist zwingend nötig, da sich das Haus am oberen Berghang befindet und der Weg zum Meer oder zum Einkaufen zu beschwerlich wäre. Ein Mittelklasse Auto kostet rund zwanzig Euro mit Komplettversicherung am Tag. Nadia bestückt den Kühlschrank mit selbstgemachter Marmelade, 1 Flasche Wein und Wasser. Reife Früchte aus dem Garten dürfen vernascht werden. Ein wunderschöner Poolbereich mit absoluter Privatsphäre. Es gibt unzählige Badebuchten, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. In diesem Objekt kann man relaxen oder Aktivitäten hervorragend kombinieren. Liebe Nadia, der Aufenthalt bei dir ist sehr nachdrücklich und macht Lust auf ein baldiges Wiederkommen. Dankeschön. Eiinfach wunderschön!
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub bei Nadia verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich einzigartig, der Blick von der Terasse einfach atemberaubend! Alles im Haus ist handgemacht und Nadia ist die beste Gastgeberin. Bei Ankunft stand sogar selbstgemachte Marmelade (unbedingt probieren!) Zitronen und Blumen aus ihrem Garten bereit. Alles dort ist ökologisch angebaut. Sogar ein Wasserfilter ist eingebaut, so kann man auf Plastikflaschen verzichten. Nadia ist wirklich ein Herz von Mensch! Sie hat uns eingeladen und uns gezeigt wie man traditionell griechischen Kaffe zubereitet und sich sogar einige Stunden Zeit genommen um uns viele tolle und geheime Plätze und den schönsten Strand der Gegend zu zeigen. Vielen vielen Dank liebe Nadia! Wir haben es sehr genossen und gerne deinen Geschichten gelauscht. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Supermärkte und direkt am Strand einige gute Cafes und schöne Restaurants. Am Hafen kann man sich auch frischen Fisch direkt vom Netz kaufen. Am Ende der Straße gibt es das beste Gyros&Souvlaki! Ein Auto ist klar von Vorteil, da das Haus erhöht liegt. Aber es lohnt sich auf alle Fälle! Es gibt viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in de nahen Umgebung, wenn man sich von der tollen Terrasse los reißen kann. Ich kann diese Unterkunft einfach nur weiterempfehlen! Wir vemissen die Zeit dort jetzt schon.
