Overpriced, outdated rooms. Uncomfortable.

Very overpriced for room condition. Very old bed and mattress, beat up couch and bad shower head.

muy buen departamento, comodo, y acogedor

Posted 19-Feb-2016

Well kept but limited parking

Posted 09-Oct-2015 on Hotels
The condos themselves seem older but well kept. The location is pretty good, only being about 15 minutes from Aspen and and a short walk to food and drink during the ski season (most everything good was closed in Snowmass). Our biggest gripe was the lack of parking, which wasn't noted anywhere. There is no parking reserved for the condos. You have to park in the public lots. Being the off-season, we didn't have to park too far away, but during the prime ski season... good luck finding somewhere close. Far from ideal and the fact that it wasn't noted anywhere didn't make for a great surprise when we arrived later at night. Overall a decent stay though if you don't mind a small hike to park your vehicle!

Bed felt like I was sleeping on a stone slab

Posted 11-Sep-2015
Cons: appliances, bed should be replaced as #1 priority, fix your hot tubs, thermostat to room was faulty, set at 79 deg actual temp was around 90.
I could not get a good nights rest with their terribly hard bed, pool area was in bad shape, 2x hot tubs and only 1 worked. The one hot tub that worked was set at a boiling 105 degrees. Could not even get in along with 6 other guests I saw could not get in the hot tube either. Original appliances from the 80's yellowed plastic and all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was as helpful as they could be, the condition of the room was out of their hands however, slum owners wont upgrade anything in the rooms. This was our honey moon stay and I regret booking the room.

Great location! False advertisement/condo gamble

Posted 01-Sep-2015
These are condominiums in the heart of Snowmass. The location can not be beat. A short walk from shops, restaurants, the slopes, etc.. The condo complex has a beautiful pool area, hot tubs and even a gas grill that you can use. The condos however, leave something to be desired. We booked a studio condo, and it looked like it was a top of the line studio in the 1970s - it even had a trash compactor! We didn't mind that it was outdated, but the carpet was stained, the place was damp, and we killed over 10 mosquitos (in high country Colorado!) in the first condo we stayed in. We called and asked to be upgraded, so we agreed to pay more for the remaining 4 nights we stayed. The second place was also outdated, but it was reasonably clean (although I found popcorn kernels on the day bed) and no bugs. I'm assuming that the comfort of each condo depends on the owner. So if you know exactly what condo you are going to get, and have photos of the exact condo that you will be staying in, then it could be great. Or if you don't plan on spending any time in the condo, then also it could be a good bet.

Great hotel right in the middle of SnowmassVillage

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: The location was great and it was quiet. The room was large and comfortable.
Cons: The reliability of the wifi - it was not great. The appliances were very old and should be updated.
Location: Elk Camp Gondola and chair lift, Snowmass Village Mall, Aspen is about a 25 minute drive.
The room was amazing. It was way more than my husband and I were expecting. We got offseason rates and we definitely got more than what we paid for. We were expecting just another hotel room, but this was amazing. Big bathroom with separate sink. The living room had two couches and was very large. The internet was room specific so that was nice and mostly reliable. There was a full kitchen but the appliances were very old. There was no air conditioning in the room but we kept the windows open the whole time and that was ok - not a lot of noise. Overall it was a great experience. There aren't many restaurants in Snowmass Village so we went to Aspen for dinner.

Hotel staff didnt answer calls or was there for check out so had to leave the keys in the office unattended. Condition of room was nice but no AC and no room cleaning service. Looks nicer online than in person too.

The price of the room was exactly what we needed it to be. It was very comfortable. Even with 4 of us staying together, we had plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again, if the need arises. Thank you for a great stay!
