"The resort, rooms, buildings, and pool areas are beautiful. The wifi is limited and spotty unless you are in the main lobby area. Buffet food gets boring quick, rarely freshly cooked, potatoes and many vegetables are never cooked through, meats are tough and grisly. Specialty Restaurants are nearly impossible to get reservations at, And the restaurants seem to just use the food from the buffets with new sauces. It may be all inclusive but they never stop the upselling...bottles of wine, top shelf liquors, ugraded wifi, platinum services, timeshare offerings. And the wandering sales folks are not limited to just the beach, on the resort you're constantly stalked and asked to sign up for excursions and spa services, balinese beds by the pool. The local vendors are persistent on artisan day but they are friendly. THERE WERE A LOT OF YOUNG CHILDREN (3MO-4YO) CRYING, SCREAMING, MISBEHAVING, AND PARENTS WHO COULDN'T/ WOULDN'T/DIDN'T CONTROL THEM EVERYWHERE WE WENT. I'd like to see some adults only areas and pools for non platinum visitors. There is a family area and pool, keep the youngsters in that area, they shouldnt be hanging out at the pool bar with the drunks and couples getting romantic. House keeping, landscapers, bellboys phenomenal! Waitstaff, cooks, bartenders, and security could learn to be more attentive and to anticipate needs of guests. Not once were we ever asked "can I help you?" "

"We had an incredible time! The staff were amazing, but our butler Raul superseded every expectation imaginable! Staff will go the extra mile to ensure everything goes smoothly, but Raul will run a marathon for the families he supports. "

"This is the cheapest all inclusive in the region, so keep that in mind. The property is fair for the price, simple but delivers what is promised and the staff compensates with an amazing service. You need to walk on the street for half block to reach the beach, this is unconfortable. This hotel has the only "mall" with fair price I could find around here. The experience is exaclty what is promised, however, this is not a fancy all inclusive experience."

"staff was INCREDIBLE!! food was hit and miss. good variety, but while some things were very heavily seasoned, others seemed bland. room was nice, but we had a very stubborn glass balcony door. be prepared for the "time share" sales pitches (that you can politely decline). pool area had a lot of "occupied" loungers which was frustrating to have towels on them but no people there all day. "

"I stayed at Hotel Checkin El Cortecito for 7 days. Confusion around the name of the hotel to start with. It was originally called Green Coast Hotel...changed its name to Hotel Checkin El Cortecito...not to be confused with Hotel Checkin El Cortecito Beach!. Conversing in English was challenging...but with the help of a translation app everything I needed was taken care of with a smile. Delenny was ever so willing to help with anything i needed...she is a star. Breakfast was included...it was basic ...no frills. Tided me over 'till lunch. Accomodation was adequate...kinda "shabby chic without the chic" Walk to the beach was mentioned as 5,min(I was wary)..more like 10 but not a problem...hey...I'm on holiday! Housekeeping seemed to be on an "ask for it"system. Air conditioner wirked perfectly...television not at all...but i wouldnt have watched it anyway...i was toooo busy at the fabulous beaches all within walking distance...some not so easy to find...but...they are all attached. Fir the price and location...cant be beat!! Gotta catch my flight home"
