"Very attentive staff! Loved the thoughtfulness of having guests sit down for staff to explain hotel information upon check-in. Highlights of our stay were the drink bar, cultural experience (Maiko performance during our stay), free ice cream, and breakfast! Also loved the convenient location of the hotel. There was a sumo show nearby the hotel that we were able to enjoy in the evening. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we had the chance again!"

"The house is conveniently located, close to the JR station and there are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a 100-year-old stationery store close by, which we really enjoyed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and it was very neat to be able to show our kids a more traditional, old-style Japanese house. We were disappointed that there was no tatami, however, as it appears there has been a recent renovation, and more disappointed that the rules asked guests not...

"The room was a good size for Japan. We really liked the washroom set up..the fact that the toilet was in a separate room and there was a Japanese style washing area. It was great to have a sliding door to separate the two spaces. Storage was ample. The location was great for shopping and the hotel was quiet. We liked the lounge area in the other part with free coffee and soft drinks. The washing machines were greatly appreciated. Although they had check in machines there was always staff at the front desk to help with inquiries. Would definitely stay here again. Good value!! I’m"
