"The owner cancelled the booking 24 hours before our arrival, nobody was at the place when we arrived, I had to call the owner only to be told he had no room for us but some emergency accomodation what was not in the same place, not the same kind we booked etc."

Supalai Scenic Bay Resort and Spa is exactly what his name says a very nice scenic pot.
It's also a prefect hotel to spend a night waiting for the ferry to Koh Yao Noi.
The breakfast itself is rather basic but you are pleasantly welcomed and the view is really nice.
We got a special discount for the night and at for that price, around 40 US$, we had nothing to complain about.
