Located in the heart of the old town. Close to everything. Very clean and comfortable. 3 bedrooms. Great for a family. Only drawback is the 4 flight of stairs. But it keeps you in great shape while dining in wonderful restaurants.
My wife and I stayed with our 2 boys. Visiting from the USA. The apartment is very nice and was just as described. It is located in old Annecy and is walkable to the train station. Literally in the heart of all the best restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. Check in was super easy and communication with the host was fantastic. I would love to stay here again! Can’t recommend it highly enough.
the apartment is located in the middle of the old town, close to the lake. It is a great place for vacation but also great if you need to work. Quiet place, nice rooms, and they have everything you need there. Highly recommended.
We couldn't be happier with our stay at this apartment. My wife and I with our two adult kids stayed for two nights. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Communication with our hosts was excellent. Only word of caution is that the unit is up 4 flights of stairs so if you are challenged with mobility you should probably avoid, but I think the listing was clear in this regard. I loved being so centrally located in the heart of old town and super close to the lake. Thank for a great stay.
There were 4 adults and a busy baby in our group. It was so nice to have the baby bed and high chair. And plenty of space for us adults to spread out. We loved the location, too! Great restaurants and dessert shops in the street below, quick walk to beautiful views (and many parks for the baby to play), and a short distance from the city center. If we were to visit Annecy again, we would absolutely stay here!!
Location is great, everything is within walking distance and it was quiet in the apartment as it was cooler so the windows were closed. It is a few floors up, and quite a few stairs but they are mostly wide and bright.
Apartment itself is well thought through and has all things necessary for a comfy few days stay.
Absolutely superb place with all you need for a stay. Apartment was clean and spacious, with good facilities for self catering and greatly situated for Annecy town and the lake. The only negative would be (our fault for not checking) we would have preferred Air Conditioning as it’s summer - especially as there is some noise from the streets at weekends if you leave the windows open for air!
Would love to come and stay again - can’t give a higher recommendation than this.
The way the description for apartment read I assumed there was a half bath. However there is only one full bath in the apartment. There was a toilet but it was all the way down 4 floors in the courtyard. Great location less than a block from the lake and in the middle of everything.

Great location and ambience. It was well outfitted and well taken care of. A good hike up the 4 flights of stairs for some and the rooms were pretty hot until late in the night/early in the morning during our stay in August. Parking at arrival was challenging to find, but once we found the car park that offered passes about 1 1/2 blocks from the apartment, it was not too bad after that.
Lovely central location in the old town. Bonlieu car park only a couple of minutes’ walk away. Nice spacious place, well appointed with high quality equipment, very handy to have washing and ironing facilities also. We visited in mid August in hot weather and the apartment was hot inside, although fans were provided for all areas which really helped.
We cannot recommend this stay enough! The location of the apartment was a perfect way to explore Annecy by foot and by bike. Stéphanie & Jean-Pierre were wonderful hosts that were very responsive and kind. The space was clean and inviting. The apartment was within walking distance from the train station and nestled in the heart of old town. The apartment sits atop a street lined with cafes and shops with direct access to the lake front. We were a group of two couples and a young child, 2 & 1/2, and the space was perfect for us. Highlights of this space include how walkable it is city life: the lake front, cafes, & shops. It was exactly what we wanted, and we cannot wait to return! Thank you!
We stayed in Annecy for 4 nights. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location is perfect - lots of restaurants downstairs, good location on the edge of the old town, parking very close and convenient and a supermarket around the corner.The apartment was very clean and instructions for arrival and our stay were clear and well communicated.It's worth noting that the apartment is up 4 flights of stairs. That's the price of being in the centre of things, and we knew that when we booked. It would be difficult for someone with mobility issues.We'd definitely recommend the apartment, as long as you're happy to get a bit of exercise.
The apartment was beautiful and perfectly equipped. The location was excellent with a lovely buzz from the restaurants below; but if you’re wanting somewhere especially quiet this won’t be for you. Given the time of year, we were grateful for the provision of fans to generate a bit of air flow. All the beds were comfortable and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t already provided. We loved staying and would definitely return. Communication with Stephanie and Jean-Pierre was clear and straightforward at all stages.
Hello! We loved the apartment! The location is perfect, the place was clean and comfortable -- everything we needed was supplied. Our one and only complaint has to do with the door lock. While having a combination lock is fine, we did wonder how we would get out of the mechanism failed. There should be a back-up key in case of emergency.
Paper towels. We ve been renting from Vrbo for over 10 years and have never checked into a European trip where there were paper towels. That’s the attention to detail to insure renters are happy. When I first received the contract and 27 page, what you need to know, book, I sighed. But printed it off and it was appreciated for its thoroughness. The unit was modern, clean and well supplied. We couldn’t have been happier.
I recently stayed at an apartment in Lake Annecy, which had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic—very central, with easy access to the lake, shops, and restaurants. This made it convenient to explore the area and enjoy the local amenities.
The apartment was extremely hot, especially at night. Although it was disclosed that there was no air conditioning, the heat made it almost impossible to sleep. Additionally, there was a lot of street noise throughout the night from the restaurants down below and early morning trash pick-up was very loud, further disrupting our sleep.
While the central location was a big plus, the lack of air conditioning and the noise levels were bothersome.
This was our family’s first time using VRBO and it was such a positive experience. Our hosts were so communicative and helpful before the stay. We had all the information needed to get into the apartment with ease.The location is fantastic. It was an easy 7 minute walk from the train station, and the apartment is in the heart of the action in Annecy. One of the main attractions here is biking the lake. The apartment was a 7-8 minute walk to Cyclable which is a bike rental place directly across from the lake and the bike path. Many of the restaurants we ate at were on Rue Sainte-Claire which was a 5-7 minute walk. Perfect location all around. The apartment itself is a delight! You can tell it was freshly and thoughtfully renovated. It is the top floor of an apartment building on Rue de Pacquier. Lots of restaurants below and a gelateria. There’s a well-stocked kitchen, lovely living room, toilet and showerr (great water pressure!) and main bedroom on the first floor. Our 9 yr old slept in the smaller bedroom on the second floor and our 12 and 13 yr old girls slept in the second floor queen (two singles pushed together) in the 2nd floor loft area. Everyone was happy and had the room they needed.We stayed in mid-June and it hit 90 degrees while we were there. There is no AC, but we spent the whole day outside and only came back to sleep. With the windows open, skylights open, and fans for all of us, we were fine.
An excellent apartment in the heart of old Annecy. Everything was a short walk away. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and grear communication too. Definitely want to go back for another stay.
Was not our first stay at the apartment. The hosts have always been available,approachable and forward thinking to enable us to get the most out of or stay.
We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in the beautiful old city, close to great restaurants, and bakeries. It’s an easy walk to the lake/swimming which the kids absolutely loved. Highly recommend renting a bike for a ride around the whole lake and discovering other swimming spots.
