"Perfectly situated close to the city centre, there’s a car park and you can walk to most of the city’s attractions. Our room was on the first floor and had a balcony overlooking the garden. "Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either."

"I defy anyone to find friendlier staff than those at The Elmer - nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. The food in the restaurant is really good - particularly useful to know as there's nowhere else nearby to eat! We had a wonderful walk along the beach before dinner. "Couldn’t ask for a better location. Smack in the middle of everything in town and only a 7-8 min walk from the station. Apartment was very clean and well presented. Iron and hairdryer included. The only real downside was the thin windows in the property that didn’t block a lot of the outside noise. Some of the rowdy pub goers (of which I was one!) could be very noisy in the early hours.
