"We were upgraded to a room with a stunning sea view. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Only downside was a leaky pipe in our shower was believed to have flooded the room below, but that’s to be expected with such an old and very beautiful building. Would absolutely recommend. "

"I loved my room at the very top of the hotel, it was very comfortable and had windows on both sides. I was told it was top floor without lifts, and I was fine with this. I loved all the paintings, antique furniture and knock knacks around the public areas, and there was real character to the place The reception staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. I felt completely safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. "

"It was lovely , modern, clean and a lovely location. The view is great (if you have a balcony.. The others without are on the side) The room does get hot. Ceiling fan and standing fan. So if you dont have a balcony you can't get much air in. We had a balcony. It was noisy due to road works and some apparent drunk people at night shouting!! It is well equipped.. Like iron, dishwasher, oven, fridge etc. No one cleans though whilst we were there.. 3 nights. Pleasant staff... The best is.. In...

"The hotel is very nice and clean and staff friendly. The restaurant was over priced and very small portions. The atmosphere was weird with music playing outside the dining area when it should of been inside. Waiting time for dishes too long and stagf didnt clean tables. Very disappointing to be honest "

"Great place to stay just outside of central Brighton but and a short walk to everything. No elevator so getting heavy bags up the narrow stairs is tricky. But rooms are nice and relatively spacious and the property is quiet and clean. "
