What a great hotel . If you are coming from Phuket or Bangkok ( not just the airports) change money there . The exchange rate is lower in Samui by about 4%. But unfortunately we note that the place is falling apart with poor maintenance, missing tiles and missing grout in the pool. So the entire hotel should be renovated to get the standard that the place deserves. The breakfast is unfortunately at the same poor level as last time when it comes to the selection of spreads and the lack of refrigeration of all the dishes with different products that were on display." Koh Samui beaches are coral, so very little soft sand, and you often smell fishy yucky when you finish swimming, but i think that's the whole island. The swimming was still great. The pools were lovely, always sparkling clean. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff is excellent. Yaya and the restaurant staff are very attentive and accommodating, and the pool bar staff are very friendly and fun. The night time front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. All around the staff seemed happy, so that tells you something right there. The restaurant looks over the beach and it's beautiful having a meal there. The spa was excellent! I had a fabulous 10 days there and will definitely stay there again.
