"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

"Moving to Chittlehampton,were looking for somewhere to stay for the first few weeks nearby and Prospect Cottage was perfect. We felt at home immediately, it has a cosy atmosphere with everything you need for a comfortable stay. "We had a small misunderstanding about the composition of our group meaning we didn't have the right combination of beds made up - but the owners responded quickly and helpfully, as they did to all questions. The large kitchen dining area was a fabulous feature, so was the lounge. The garden was also fabulous although the weather wasn't kind to us so we couldn't use it as much as we hoped. "Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream...

"The stay was very enjoyable and Bude was very pretty and near to property. Trying to get in touch with the owner before the trip was troublesome because of Vrbo and their pass words which never seem to work. That was the worst part of booking this trip."
