"3 nights in Palermos old center. A bit loud at night but that was to be expected. Host was very helpful to me with my lost luggage. No hot water when we arrived. Host was quick to respond and had it fixed within an hour. Apartment was lovely, however it was advertised as a 3 bedroom when it was only 2. The third bed was a fold out couch in the living room."

"The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"Fulvio was the kindest person and best host anyone could ask for!! The second day of our stay there, I had a minor injury (which was my own fault), it wasn’t serious but I thought it still would be safer to go to the hospital since I will be traveling for a while. We were originally planning on going to the clinic ourselves, but Fulvio said he will take us to the hospital because how the public hospital system was set up, we could be waiting there for the whole day without been seen by a doctor...

"We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and historic home. The rain prevented us from site seeing mostly so we were cozy in our home and gardens. Giovanni was great! He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the train station when we left. He was always responsive when we had questions. 5 star for Giovanni and Sylvia. "Un petit coin de paradis avec vue sur mer. Équiper pour cuisiner, la literie au top Nous sommes très peu de locataires et donc vous pouvez profitez de la piscine tout seul parfois. Cefalù est a 10 min. Un supermarché est a 5 min et la plage a 10 min en voiture. Le gérant est très sympathique et soucieux de votre confort. Je recommande au famille."

"Third floor covered porch with great view of mountains gave gave 3 adults, three children and a dog a cool breeze during the heat wave. Optional AC not needed. A large common garden was also available for relaxing after touring. Host on site had an phone with instant translation."

A car is needed to get around but local beach has a lovely restaurant in walking distance. Also a large supermarket in walking distance. As is the train station. Hosts left a welcome pack which was appreciated and answered any questions we had. Also provided a cot for our infant."
