"So happy to have found this place. Definitely the best on our trip. The location and communication are excellent. But on top of this the place is immaculate. Everything feels clean like new. And the space is incredibly well layed out. Highly recommended and thank you so much to Ashley. Peter"

Amazing, great little find. Bedroom was spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water and powerful shower and the bed was SO comfortable. The quality of the decoration in the room and the pub overall was impressive. Only minor issue was the duvet was too warm but then it was a very warm day. So many little touches made it extra special, Border biscuits, plenty of tea and coffee in the room and good quality complimentary toiletries.

The hotel is centrally located with beautiful grounds overlooking the river. Everything about our stay here was lovely. The room was dated however spotlessly clean with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room overlooking the gardens and river. Everything you could wish for was on the menu, There's loads of character in this hotel. All staff very friendly and helpful too. We will definately be back!

From the moment we were greeted by Susan with a lovely tray of tea and shortbread we knew this place was special.
Robin and Susan are such a lovely friendly couple and great fun to chat with.
The rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts amazing.
We hope to return to the Kelso area and when we do we will stay here.
