"Very nice, clean room with very helpful staff. Choice of pillows and a very comfortable, clean bed. The room was very warm, no Aircon but a fan was provided. The reception and breakfast room are in a different building, on a different road which was fine as the weather was dry. Buffet breakfast was great with good choice. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner which was also excellent. Staff were all extremely good. Would stay here again."

"The property was in an excellent location for our visit to the Historical Dockyard as well as places to eat, the bus and train station. The property was clean, quiet and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food."

What stood out was the people - everyone we encountered working at the establishment went out of there way to make sure we were having a great stay. "The meal we had for dinner the sea bass with spring onions and supposedly with cauliflower purée was terrible. The skin on the fish was not crisp, the onions were Pretty raw and there was no cauliflower purée and it was very very greasy - would not recommend it. The hot water for breakfast to make tea was lukewarm."
