Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.

Friendly hotel and restaurant in a beautiful location by the river Stour and. nature reserves - ducks, swans, herons ... Served by hourly bus direct from Poole, or use the very frequent services to Kinson and walk 11-15 minutes across the nature reserve

Lovely hotel and decor, recently been refurbished. Excellent value and great food. Breakfast was lovely with a fantastic choice! Would definitely recommend to family or friends and if in te area, will book again.

Had a wonderful stay (4 nights in the Stables). The Inn is set in beautiful countryside, and I loved the quaintness of the building, lots of different areas to sit in to eat or have a drink, and a nice covered seating area outside. Our stay was very pleasant. Exceptionally friendly staff, particularly Sarah, who always went above and beyond to satisfy our every need Bedroom was a tad small. Food was excellent, with a really good variety to choose from. Breakfast in the Pullman was very different and most enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again.

We were blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were, every single one of them , I would highly recommend here and will definitely return , food is amazing , so much choice and large portions , we absolutely loved it .

i received excellent service from attentive staff. my loft room was small but well- appointed.

We like to be able to dine with our dog & the shower for the dogs was brilliant the towels ; fleece provided in our room We have no dislikes this was our 4th visit we love the woodlands

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and contactable at all times, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast whether hot or cold and all hot food was cooked to order. I would highly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints. Had a lovely Halloween stay in Burley, such a great location in the New Forest. Really appreciated the friendly staff, lovely welcoming bar, and the superb Halloween decorations which really set the scene and mood.
