"Staff were brilliant, food was very good and the price was reasonable. Only issue we had was the WiFi was poor, so streaming was buffering all the time and we found the mattress to hard. Was pet friendly and a great find. Lots to do in the area, and great beaches within 20 minutes."

Although it's self-check-in, the staff are available on phone and text and very helpful. Continental breakfast hamper and fridge in room were a nice bonus."

"Staying in the iconic Castle Hotel in Berwick is very convenient and close to the train staion and the town. Highly recommended if you travel by train. The hotel staff is friendly and provides free cold breakfast or charged hot breakfast. The room is clean daily and the little downside is the little drainage smell inside the room but not affected the 5 star experience."

"The room was cosy clean and had everything you need to stay for a couple of days. We just struggled with the lighting , switches very strange ! No light over the tea making table so rather dark and had to use a torch."
