Such a beautiful place with a lot of history. Location is fantastic, right in downtown and walking distance to everything. Lovely grounds, outdoor living room and fireplace, and plenty of space. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating! Will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Love the breakfast. Room was very cozy. Very clean. The only disappointment was running out of warm water during our morning shower and the one Palmeto bug in our room.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the the water running cold. It looks like you stayed in the Main House. During cold nights, we have had an occasional delay with the hot water. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. As for the Palmetto bug, we have a regular pest service and do our very best to keep all insects out of the Inn. We hope to see you again in the future.

Our experience was wonderful. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and the staff were as very helpful and kind. It was a very nice experience staying at the Carriage House.

A taste of Aiken at the Carriage House
We came in to see family for a Christmas visit. This was our first stay at the Carriage House and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay, from the employees, the food, the friendliness and the pure enjoyment of a classic inn. We will return.

Charming Aiken Stay
We had an amazing stay at the Carriage House Inn! From check in to check out the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and the whole Inn was super cozy and charming.

Perfect spot.
This place is great. It is an old building and shows it’s age a little bit in ways you would expect. It felt safe, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I’m not sure I have ever slept so well on a hotel bed. If I’m ever in the area again I will stay here with no hesitation.

Staff was friendly and pleasant. I was able to bring my dog here. Hot breakfasts were splendid! Old fashioned ambiance was sweet and historic. You can walk everywhere in town, and parking was very easy. I definitely recommend the Carriage House.

BWS Carriage Inn review

Beware! Nothing like advertisement .
Even though I chose to pay at time of check in they ran my card before I got there and charged $8.43 additional for using a charge card. Bed was worse I ever slept in. Breakfast terrible. No elevators and steps very steep. Beware! Nothing like advertisement. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Smoke detector dangling from ceiling.
